Doberman Planet is looking for exciting, unusual, knowledgeable, or just NEW experts to bring in front of our audience! If you’re interested in being a guest on the Doberman Planet channel, then you’ve come to the right place. We love having insightful people with unique expertise to share with our audience regarding the Doberman! This could be professional experience (like breeders or veterinarians), or maybe you simply have built significant non-professional, personal experience with the breed (such as a 40-year Doberman owner)! We love all insights!

Doberman Planet is looking for a few passionate Doberman experts who want to share their tips, insights, triumphs, and struggles with their Dobermans.
We’re Looking for Experts Who Are:
- Comfortable (or can become comfortable) in the spotlight and in front of a camera.
- Able to deliver quality raw footage of themselves speaking into a camera and following a provided outline, often with their dog present, on a contract basis.
- Flexible in what they produce based on the needs of the Doberman Planet audience.
- Excited to teach, instruct, and share insight into this breed with positivity and passion.
- Willing to occasionally follow highly-scripted segments in the footage they record, such as sponsorship blurbs or other specific segments.
- Able to have video calls with the Doberman Planet team prior to the production of a new video to collaborate and discuss details of the project.
NOTE: Not every project will involve you filming the raw footage yourself. We also have interview opportunities where you simply send us video clips of your Doberman for us to use in the final video, and we schedule a time to record a Zoom-like interview with you to share your insights!
You’ll be working closely with John Walter of Doberman Planet and helping us produce wonderfully insightful videos that we’ll publish on the Doberman Planet YouTube channel.
Experts We’d Love To Feature
There are a few specific experts we’d love to feature on our channel.
- Breeder – This will be someone who is a responsible Doberman breeder with a track record. They could either be actively breeding Dobermans now or be in between litters. Someone who may answer many “breeder questions” the audience has, and possibly appear multiple times on our channel!
- Veterinarian – We’re also looking for a trained veterinarian since the health of this breed is such an important topic. Ideally, this would be a veterinarian with some experience with Dobermans or who owns one of their own. However, significant Doberman-specific experience isn’t required.
- Doberman Expert – This would be someone with significant knowledge of the Doberman breed. Maybe you have experience competing, training, or breeding Dobermans, or just a long history of owning and researching this breed. This should be someone very familiar with their natural behavior tendencies and instincts, including how those manifest themselves in their daily lives with their owners.
What’s in It for You?
We’re hoping to have guests on our channel who are truly passionate about the breed and helping other owners out there by telling their stories or giving their insight.
While we can’t pay you (there are occasionally exceptions, such as when recording sponsorship spots), we will give you a large platform to deliver your message, and we can almost always refer our audience to your social media pages as well. We try to make this as enjoyable as possible, afterall, we want you to come back and share more insights again!

F.A.Q.
What will I need to deliver as the final product?
This will vary a little bit depending on the project and John will discuss it with you in detail on a video call prior. However, it may be as simple as showing up for a recorded Zoom-like video interview and/or possibly delivering some of your own footage too.
Do I need to edit the footage?
Not at all! Doberman Planet uses its own video editors. We handle everything else, all you need to worry about is speaking with us to discuss and plan each project, producing the requested raw footage (if applicable), and uploading it to us!
Would I be hosting the channel every week?
No, you’ll be an “Expert Guest Host” here at Doberman Planet and be featured on our YouTube channel, possibly our social media pages as well.
I don’t know much about recording high-end video footage, is that ok?
Totally. Not every project will require our guest experts to produce footage anyway! We’ll also never ask you to do something you’re not comfortable with! Even if we do ask if you could send us some footage of your dog, for example, we’re FAR less concerned about finding someone who can produce perfect video footage than we are about finding someone who has useful and helpful insight for our viewers.
